EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES
EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Techniques also known as Tapping. It is a combination of modern psychology and acupressure.
EFT is a practical body and mind therapy – a process of mindful and intentional tapping (gently, with fingertips) on several acupuncture points on the face and upper body.
EFT combines the wisdom of ancient Chinese meridian therapy (the basis for acupuncture and acupressure) with a more modern understanding of how the brain works and how we process and store memories and emotions.
EFT unlink emotional and traumatic events, memories, beliefs, and emotions from where they have been stored in our bodies. It helps to re-pattern and release the limit beliefs we are holding.
EFT was developed from Thought Field Therapy (TFT) in 1990s by the American Gary Craig. He simplified the process from TFT to a universal tapping process, which would cover al meridians at once by tapping on 9 meridian points.
EFT is since been more widely known and in recent years through The Tapping Solution by Nick Ortner and Jessica Ortner.
Today more and more have found how EFT gets amazing results on almost everything, but especially when working on fear, pain, limit beliefs, performance and bad habits.
